I can't believe its over already!! My last two weeks were wonderful and this has been such an amazing trip!! Its hard to believe that this past 6 weeks really happened or that there is a whole other half of summer that is yet to be had! Either way this was a great experience and I am so sad to leave this beautiful city and all the wonderful people that I've met! But I'm also excited to get back home and see all the people that I love and have missed so much!
Good bye and Good Night London :)

Where did all the time go??
sorry I'm not very good at keeping this up! Anywho the last two weeks have been awesome and very busy!!! First my cousin sherri came and we had very exciting, intense, jam packed days of museums, galleries, cathedrals, parks, shows, cheese, tours, and just about everything you can possibly do in 5 days, we did! Oh and a highlight for me was going to platform 9 3/4 which was magical!!! Except I couldn't go through the portal, that was sad. But I still felt like I was a little less of a muggle for just a little bit :)
Then this past weekend I went to visit some relatives in Germany! I had a wonderful time! They all were so kind and showed me all around Northern Germany! We saw many old cathedrals and even got to hear a concert! Plus there were homecooked meals which were wonderful! I'm pretty sure I ate enough to last me through this next week :) I had a great time with them and can't wait to go back and take the rest of my family to see them too!
Other than that I just can't believe that I only have 10 more days here!! There is still a bunch of things that I want to do and see and hopefully I will get to this weekend.

A day in the park...

Do you ever get the random urge to punt a pigeon?? I'm not trying to be mean and violent its just that these pigeons here are relentless! They have no fear, no manners, and no consideration for anyone else! I'm not joking. So the other day I went to the park and sat down on a bench and was minding my own business and these pigeons just think that they can run the place and flock around wherever they want. They constantly appear to be flying low in your direction, aimed right for your face! As well as they never move when your walking, hence the punting. Seriously I would not even have to try to be stealthy in my attempts to punt one. Don't worry I have not yet, and for fear of a fine or ticket I probably won't end up actually kicking one either.
The park was very peaceful as well! I went for a walk and came across an open field area where they were playing all sorts of adult league sports like soccer, rugby, softball, and cricket! Oh my other exciting find in the park was a man who had what I like to call mullet dreads....yes mullet dreads. He had to decide that first a mullet was a good idea. obviously.....and second that turning the mullet into dread locks was an even better idea!! (logical thinking progression as well) Didn't have my camera otherwise I would have posted a picture.
Nothing else too much to say. We've done a bit of site seeing these past few days. Went to Windsor on Saturday which was cool. We got to go in the castle and see some of the rooms as well which was pretty exciting! Today is a bank holiday so a lot of stuff is closed, but I'm personally celebrating Memorial Day instead!

other than the computer....
Soooooo things are pretty good here except as my fb status would indicate my computer is dying of an incurable disease! Which is so sad I don't know whats wrong with it but at least the school has computers and I can still use my roomates mac sometimes too. But other than that I probably won't get it fixed til I get back to the states. Otherwise things have been going well here! We go for our first field trip tommorow to a church so hopefully that will be exciting! We also might be going to watch a soccer game tonight at a pub. This week we are going to a few museums and hopefully get to walk around the city some more. The weather is supposed to warm up to the upper 60's and 70's this week, so that is exciting! Hope to write more soon :)

Getting acclaimated
So I have almost had an entire week in London and I think it is going pretty successfully! I really like the class that I am in, Religion & the Arts: Churches and Cathedrals of England. My professor is this little old, spunky British lady! We will be taking field trips every Tuesday to different churches in the area too.
Otherwise I've met a bunch of really nice girls at the school and we've gone out together in the city. We've also gotten to meet a number of locals at some of the pubs. I even had my first fish-n-chips the other night! But they serve it with these mashed peas that I find rather disgusting :(
This weekend a group of us are going to go out and do some more touristy things in the city like see Parliament, Big Ben, the Thames river.... The weather has been ok. It gets sunny for a little while and then cools off. It's been pretty consistently
50's and 60's. Which makes me wish that I would have brought some more warmer clothes but that ok.

Hello London.....
So we arrived yesterday. Flight was fine, nothing too eventful (as all flights should be!). I don't start my class til tommorow. We went for a mini walking tour of the surrounding area yesterday. So far the weather has been nice, warm but breezy. And sorry to disapoint but I have not taken a single picture yet!! Don't worry I'm feeling fine :) My dorm room isn't very big but it is decent sized. 2 beds, 2 desks, 2 closests, creeky doors and floors but thats ok. Good luck to all who are taking finals back home!!

Almost there!
Hellooooo! So I leave for London a week from today....yikes! I have most of my stuff together and a few last minute things to do but other than that I think I'm ready to go. Oh yeah 5 papers, 2 presentations, 1 seminar, 1 speech, and 3 exams....then I'll be ready to go. It's probably good that things are so busy, because if I had tons of free time then I would probably be freaking out to a certain extent. But other than that I'm getting very excited!!
